SUBSTANCE: invention relates to improved products from a dense malleable alloy based on aluminum of the 7xxx series and can be used in the aerospace industry. The product from a malleable alloy based on aluminum of the 7xxx series contains, wt%: 0.15–0.50 Mn, 5.5–7.3 Zn, 0.95–2.2 Mg, 1.5–2.4 Cu, not more than 1.0 materials for controlling the grain structure, and the materials contain at least one of Zr, Cr, Sc and Hf, not more than 0.15 Ti, the rest is aluminum and unavoidable impurities, while the product is characterized by a thickness of 1.5 to 12 inches, and EAC resistance at 85% TYS – ST for at least 80 days.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at obtaining products from an aluminum-based alloy of the 7xxx series, characterized by improved combination of resistance to cracking under the influence of the environment and at least one of the properties - strength, elongation and crack resistance.
