ELECTRIC MOTOR FOR DRIVE WHEEL OF ROAD VEHICLE Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC B62M6/40

Abstract RU 2745435 C1

FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering, in particular to drive wheels of vehicles. The drive wheel comprises a hand-drive and an electric motor inside the hub thereof. The electric motor consists of the current distributor coils and a rotating rotor with the bodies of permanent magnets. The stator is designed in the form of a torus with a rectangular cross-section of string of sickle-shaped current distributor coils. The coils are positioned on the uprights of the frame of the road vehicle and are placed in an annular space between the bodies of permanent magnets of the rotor which are flat-curved along a cylindrical contour. The rotor magnets are oriented in pairs against each other unipolarly and located in two groups in two coaxial orbits in radial sectors. The number of sectors is equal to the number of current distributor coils with a gap equal to the thickness of the coils and preventing them from direct physical contact with magnets and other parts of the rotor.

EFFECT: increased in comfort of long-distance driving.
