FIELD: x-ray.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to X-ray technology, namely to the cathodes of X-ray tubes. The X-ray tube cathode consists of a cathode cup, emitters located in the mounting slots of the cathode cup and fixed to the current leads, and the current leads are installed in ceramic bushings, and the ceramic bushings are located in the seats made in the cathode cup, while the cathode cup is equipped with a focusing electrode, not less than one current lead of each emitter is installed in the ceramic sleeve, and the fixation of the ceramic sleeve in the seat is realized by means of a split metal sleeve located in the seat of the cathode cup and locking screws, and the fixation of another current lead installed in another seat of the cathode cup is realized by means of locking screws. Each ceramic sleeve consists of at least two ceramic half-sleeves, and the focusing electrode is equipped with an element for fixing and moving along the axis of the cathode cup, made in the form of a threaded connection.
EFFECT: technical result is to simplify the design of the X-ray tube cathode and its assembly and disassembly, and to increase the adjustment accuracy.
