FIELD: fire-fighting equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire-fighting equipment and namely to gaseous fire suppression modules using liquefied gases in a cylinder under the pressure of their own vapors or an additional propellant gas as a fire extinguishing agent. Disclosed is a gaseous fire suppression module with an overall height and overall width. It includes a container for a gas fire extinguishing agent (GFEA) located horizontally and made entirely by molding or by welding straight sections and C-shaped or T-shaped fittings. There is at least one locking and starting device on one or more end parts of the container. There is a segmented or molded diaphragm made in the form of a curved streamlined body right before the entrance to the locking and starting device. The diaphragm opens the outlet channel for the liquid phase of the GFEA in the open lower part of the flow area and blocks the exit of the gas phase.
EFFECT: high flow rate of the liquid through the diaphragm enables the use of substances with low saturated vapor pressure without additional propellant.
