FIELD: archival storage and fire safety.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to stock and archival storage system that ensures extinguishing of storage items, containing a rack system, guides, a drive for moving the rack system along the guides and a fire extinguishing system, the rack system consists of vertical racks that form adjacent sections of the rack system, horizontal shelves and roof, and the rack system is fixed on a frame with rollers driven by a manual drive wheel to move the rack system along rail guides, the stock and archive storage system is additionally equipped with blinds placed between the vertical racks of each sections of the rack system forming a sealed enclosed space for storage, and the blinds contain a sheet of lamellas movably connected to each other, a shaft for winding the web and a mechanism for raising/lowering the blinds by means of a traction cable, a geared stacker and a handle, the horizontal ends of the lamellas are made with a shoulder and a recess for docking with each other, moreover, the sheet of the blinds is inserted into vertical guides fixed on both sides of the sheet along the entire length of the vertical racks of each section of the rack system, the fire extinguishing system consists of modules with a gas fire extinguishing agent (GFEA) under pressure of propellant gas, the modules with GFEA are fixed on the roof above each section of the rack system, and the modules are connected to polymer tubes, each of which is located inside the rack system vertically along the entire height of the rack system section, and nitrogen is used as the fumes propellant.

EFFECT: ensuring an increase of efficiency of fire extinguishing and the efficiency of the system of stock and archival storage of books, documents, archives.
