SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire-fighting equipment, namely to gas fire extinguishing modules using liquefied gases in a cylinder under the pressure of their own vapors or additional propellant gas as a extinguishing agent. The gas fire extinguishing module includes a cylinder with a gas extinguishing agent and a shut-off and exhaust device. The cylinder and the shut-off and exhaust device are separated from the surrounding volume by a diaphragm having at least one calibrated opening for the release of the substance into the environment, limiting air exchange with the surrounding space, and inside which there is at least one sensor for the concentration of vapors of the extinguishing agent, the output signal of which is connected to an electronic threshold circuit that gives a signal about the leakage of the substance when exceeding the output signal of the sensors of the specified threshold. A variant of the module is also described.

EFFECT: present invention enables to ensure the continuous independent monitoring of fire extinguishing agent leakage, which will increase the reliability of the system and/or increase the period between inspections.
