FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of railway transport, in particular to stands for testing elastomeric draft gears (EDG). The stand contains a column-type power metal structure, a movable table with a spacer, a hydraulic station and a control panel with a computer. A mechanism for pressing and fixing the EDG is installed on the base of the stand. The mechanism is made wedge driven by a hydraulic cylinder. An electronic force sensor is installed on the upper wedge, which is connected to the stand control system. The movable table is installed by means of a spherical support. The shank of the linear displacement transducer is connected to the EDG body, and the transducer body is connected to the EDG rod.
EFFECT: measurement accuracy is increased.
