SUBSTANCE: invention is related in particular to structures of braking devices of ships. A ship braking device is proposed, including a permeable bow boule, a drive that rotates a shaft in bearings, which passes into the permeable boule through an oil seal in the stem and has a thread in its bow, on which there is a slider that moves in the guides when the shaft rotates, levers hinged to the slider, while the bow part of the boule consists of rotary flaps with a connector along the horizontal plane, opened on hinges by levers from the drive, and the lever that rotates the lower flap has a length greater than the lever that rotates the upper flap.
EFFECT: reduction of length of the braking distance of the ship after emergency braking.
