DEVICE FOR DETERMINING THERMAL RESISTANCE OF SUBSTANCES Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC G01N7/16

Abstract RU 2745795 C1

FIELD: analytical instrumentation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to analytical instrumentation and namely to structures designed to determine the thermal stability of various substances. The device consists of an outer casing that forms an air gap between it and a casing filled with heat-insulating material in which the thermostat body is placed made in the form of a hollow metal cylinder with cavities for installation evenly distributed around the circumference of the body and located at an equal distance from the outer and inner surfaces of the thermostat body pressurized reaction vessels each of which is equipped with a flame arrester, a pneumatic safety device and is connected through a valve to a system for evacuation and filling with an inert gas by a pneumatic line connecting the internal volume of the reaction vessel with a precision temperature-compensated device converting absolute pressure into an electrical signal the output of which is connected to a system for displaying and recording absolute pressure. In this case, the thermostating of the body is carried out by two temperature regulators the heater of the first of which is distributed over the outer cylindrical surface of the thermostat body, and the heater of the second temperature regulator is distributed over the outer cylindrical surface of a hollow metal cylinder placed coaxially inside the thermostat body, equipped with a disk attached to its end located between the upper end of the body thermostat and thermostat cover. In this case, the temperature sensors of the regulators are located in the body of the thermostat body and the hollow cylinder, respectively, and an independent electromechanical thermal fuse is installed on the upper part of the thermostat body, connected to the thermostat power circuit, and a series-connected differentiator and a zero comparator are connected to the output of the device converting absolute pressure into an electrical signal the output of which is connected to the display and registration system. The test substance is placed in an easily removable thin-walled glass installed on the bottom of the reaction glass.

EFFECT: invention increases the number of analyzes carried out during a shift. The invention also increases the reliability and safety of the device.
