FIELD: minerals processing.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to the technology of processing minerals by flotation, for example, potash ores. The method of flotation concentration of potash ores includes grinding, classification, flotation desliming of ore and flotation of sylvite with conditioning of sylvite flotation feed with a slurry depressant reagent and sylvite collector. The slurry depressant is the product of polycondensation of urea, formaldehyde, ammonia and polyethylene polyamine with weight ratios of urea, formaldehyde, ammonia and polyethylene polyamine in the range 1:(1,12÷2,70):(0,03÷0,15):(0,010÷0,049), respectively. The free formaldehyde content does not exceed 1%.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of sylvite flotation, reduced losses of potassium chloride with sylvite flotation tailings.
