FIELD: technology for processing minerals by flotation, such as potash ores.

SUBSTANCE: method of flotation concentration of potash ores involves grinding and desliming of ore with a decrease in the content of water-insoluble silicate-carbonate impurities in the feed of sylvin flotation, treatment of the feed of sylvite flotation with a depressant reagent and a cationic collector of sylvin – a primary aliphatic amine. As a sludge depressant, a product of polycondensation of carbamide with formaldehyde and ammonia is used at a molar ratio of components carbamide:formaldehyde:ammonia = 1.0:2.5-3.0:0.4-0.6, modified with amino alcohols in an amount of up to 5% of the total mass of the reagent.

EFFECT: improved technological parameters in the main sylvin flotation cycle, reduced toxicity of the depressant reagent.
