SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method and a device for air traffic control. Flight plans, aeronautical data of aircraft parameters, which are loaded into databases, are obtained from external sources for air traffic control. The data are processed in a certain way. The necessary information is sent to dispatchers' workplaces. Common databases are created and information from external sources is loaded into them. The device has a module of a complex of planning automation tools (a planning module), an air traffic control module (a control module), modules of the corresponding databases. The planning module includes an automated workstation for the planning dispatcher, an air traffic flow management unit, a block for primary processing of planned information. The control module includes an automated workstation for a dispatcher, an air traffic safety control unit, a planning information processing unit, an observation data processing unit, and each from the database modules consists of an aeronautical data base unit, a flight plan base unit and a base unit of aircraft aerodynamic parameters.

EFFECT: improvement of flight safety and airspace capacity is provided.
