FIELD: heat exchange.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat and mass transfer devices, in particular to combined contact device, and can be used in chemical, oil refining, food and other industries when implementing technological processes in counterflow gas-liquid systems. Device is made in the form of alternating short layers of nozzle, having different geometric characteristics, height and various regular structure. In each pair of adjacent separate layers one of following possible and different with respect to two other adjacent nozzle layers is realized, combination of modes of flow of interacting flows—film mode and hang-up mode, film mode and phase inversion mode, hang-up mode and phase inversion mode. Values of average porosity of adjacent layers of nozzle ε1 and ε2 differ from each other in accordance with expression ε2=A·ε1, where ε1—the value of the porosity of the base layer of packing, that is within ε1=0.92÷0.96 m3/m3, A—coefficient values which range from 1.04 to 1.06.
EFFECT: invention provides increased throughput capacity of nozzle, increased efficiency of processes of heat and mass transfer and reduced power consumption.
