SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a self-lubricating antifriction composition in a friction pair consisting of a working metal layer and a grease, characterized in that the working layer is made of stabilized zirconium and iron powders, pressed into samples under a pressure of 8-10 t / cm2 and sintered in a vacuum chamber at a temperature of 1300-1500°C, after which selenium grease is applied to the working layer and placed in a vacuum chamber, followed by heating the friction pair to a temperature of 750-800°C.
EFFECT: increased wear resistance, stability of the composition at elevated temperatures and simplified technology of its manufacture.
