FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, to devices for magnetic-pulse processing of materials (crimping, molding, calibration, welding of tubular workpieces, etc.), using high-frequency and high-amplitude current to generate a strong pulsed magnetic field with an induction above 10 T, more precisely to the design of the inductor (inductor) of these devices. The single-turn inductor is split from two or three rectangular plates - conductors having a trapezoidal cutout in a certain place and a boss-like thickening symmetrical in shape relative to the longitudinal axis of the plate, having a semi-cylindrical groove on the inner edge, made over the entire thickness, folded bifilarly with the formation of a plane-parallel transmission line from the conductors with the provision of a uniform insulating gap between conductors of different polarity and the formation of a cylindrical channel of the inductor with semi-cylindrical coaxial grooves on the edges of conductors of different polarity and connected electrically and mechanically on one side to each other, and on the other side - to the current leads of the current generator.
EFFECT: improved manufacturability, use and maintenance of the inductor due to its detachable design, as well as increased durability.
