UNIVERSAL DISMOUNTABLE ICE CUTTER Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC E01D19/14 E02B3/06

Abstract RU 2746339 C1

FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the construction of artificial structures, mainly temporary railroad and road bridges. The invention is connected with the protection of river piers from ice and floating objects on rivers with any intensity of drift ice. The dismountable ice cutter includes a piled foundation, a guide frame, superstructures mounted in the longitudinal and transverse directions from rectangular and triangular frames or rectangular and triangular blocks in the form of trusses with the formation of vertical walls and a tent, cutting ribs with an inclined front edge and with cladding. The piled foundation is based on screw piles with the possibility of building up and connecting their sections by means of insertion pieces and butt pins. The piles are made of posts, pile points, pile shoes and are connected by diagonal ties, struts, horizontal grips. The guide frame is made of butted interchangeable blocks capable of performing the function of a metal grillage plate and the function of a conductor for placing piles in the design position. The superstructures are made with elements from inventory bridge structures. Set-on weight elements are installed in the form of plates and boxes with inert material, which are connected to each other and ice cutter elements, on the guide frame between the superstructures. The cladding is made of metal in the form of plates, channels, corners connected by bolted joints.

EFFECT: invention protects river piers and temporary railroad and road bridges from ice and floating objects on rivers with any intensity of drift ice.
