FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for extracting plain lectin of licorice, in which dried and ground licorice beans are mixed with Tris-HCl buffer and the obtained mixture is incubated with constant stirring, then centrifuging said mixture to obtain a precipitate and a supernatant, discarding the obtained precipitate and using a supernatant fluid for precipitation of lectin licorice smooth 75–80 % saturation of ammonium sulphate to obtain a precipitate, which is subjected to hydrophobic chromatography and high-performance chromatography on a reversed phase carrier silisorb S-8 in a gradient of acetonitrile, and with concentration of acetonitrile from 35 to 39 % pure preparation of licorice pure beans smooth licorice.
EFFECT: disclosed is a method of isolating lectin licorice smooth.
