SUBSTANCE: object of the invention is a device for a motor vehicle, containing a muffler (1), attenuating engine exhaust noise, which has a closed casing (10) with openings for inlet and outlet of exhaust gases and contains an aerodynamic reflector at the level of said muffler, characterized in that said the device contains a thermal insulation screen (2), which covers the outer surface of the casing (1) of the muffler and the section (210) of which is made in the form of the specified aerodynamic reflector.
EFFECT: improved aerodynamics at the muffler level.
