FIELD: military equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of military equipment, in particular to devices for reducing the thermal and acoustic visibility of lightly armored vehicles. The device for reducing thermal and acoustic visibility consists of a metal body, the outer surface of which is covered with a heat-reflecting heat-resistant material. Inside the body there are jet (6) dissipative (5) screen (7) silencers with perforated material on the input path and, as well as reflectors (8) that guide the exhaust gases (1) of the engine along the air-cooled output path (2) shielded by thermal insulation material behind the rear of the machine body.
EFFECT: invention reduces the noise of engine exhaust gases, as well as reduces the probability of detection of lightly armored vehicles in the infrared range of electromagnetic waves.
