FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method of heating frozen cargo in cars when moving and parking a freight train on diesel operation and when parking in a group of cars without a locomotive on the transport infrastructure includes heating the cargo with a source of thermal energy in the form of infrared emitters equipped with moving parts and electromechanical converters and installed on the side and end walls of the freight car using a U-shaped structure. A source of electricity for the power supply of infrared emitters and electromechanical converters is: when the train is moving – at least one main generator of the locomotive and a generator of the booster section of heating of freight cars; when the train is parked – at least one main generator of the locomotive; when a group of cars without a locomotive is parked on the transport infrastructure – the battery of the booster section of heating of freight cars. The device for heating frozen cargo in cars during the movement of a freight train on diesel operation contains an electric power source, a booster section for heating freight cars, a heat flow power control system, an inverter-converter and infrared emitters with moving parts installed on the side and end walls of freight cars using U-shaped structures. The source of electricity for the power supply of infrared emitters and electromechanical converters is at least one main generator of the locomotive and a generator of the booster section of the heating of freight cars. The device for heating frozen cargo in cars when a freight train on diesel operation is parked contains an electric power source, a booster section for heating freight cars with a battery, a heat flow power control system, inverters-converters, a network disconnector of the electric heating circuit of freight cars from the battery, and infrared emitters with moving parts installed on the side and end walls of freight cars using U-shaped structures. The source of electricity for the power supply of infrared emitters and electromechanical converters is at least one main generator of the locomotive. The device for heating frozen cargo in cars, when parked in a group of cars without a locomotive on the transport infrastructure, contains an electric power source, a booster section for heating freight cars with a battery that is a source of electricity for powering infrared emitters and electromechanical converters, a heat flow power control system, an inverter-converter, network disconnector of the electric heating circuit of freight cars from the battery and infrared emitters with moving parts installed on the side and end walls of freight cars using U-shaped structures.
EFFECT: increased operating turnover of diesel locomotives, increased safety of cars from damage, and reduced cost of unloading freight cars.
