FIELD: disinfecting devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to disinfecting devices based on barrier discharge lamps and can be used to improve the indoor microclimate and disinfect indoor air in the presence of people. Device for air disinfection, consisting of a coaxial barrier discharge lamp, with electrodes, external solid reflecting radiation and internal perforated transmitting radiation, the lamp bulb is filled with a gas mixture of Kr with Cl2 or Kr with Br2, equipped with a power source, the air is processed in the inner space of the coaxial lamp. In addition, a low-pressure cylindrical mercury lamp containing electrodes is inserted into the inner space of the lamp.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of air disinfection due to the creation of a universal device for air disinfection that has both bactericidal and virucidal action, without significantly complicating the design and with the use of standard radiation sources.
