METHOD FOR SELF-PROPELLED ARTILLERY GUN ALIGNING AT COMBAT POSITION (VERSIONS) Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC F41A23/30 F41A23/34

Abstract RU 2746689 C2

FIELD: weapons.

SUBSTANCE: method of aligning a self-propelled artillery gun with supports at a combat position is developed in two versions. According to the first version, the method includes supplying fluid to the working cavities of the hydraulic cylinders of the supports and turning it off when the target pressure value is reached, which is determined at the combat position, and the fluid supply is turned off when the pressure is reached, providing the specified forces on the axles of the gun chassis and the angles of inclination of its sprung part in specified range of angles of vertical and horizontal guidance. According to the second version, the method differs in that the supports are moved by an electric drive. Power is supplied to the electric drive of each support with its subsequent disconnection. At the combat position, the target value of the power of the electric drive of each support is determined, and the power supply to the electric drive of each support is turned off when the power is reached, which provides the specified forces on the axles of the gun chassis of the gun and the angles of inclination of its sprung part in the specified range of angles of vertical and horizontal guidance.

EFFECT: relieving the load on the chassis axles and required speed of vibration damping after firing are achieved.
