FIELD: chemistry; technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: biodegradable polymeric composite is produced by molding a composition containing wood meal, low density polyethylene with particle sizes of 0.15 mcm, obtained by simultaneous action of high pressure and shear strain in extrusion apparatus at temperatures close to the melting point of low density polyethylene, and a carbon material having a particle size of 50 mcm as a mineral filler, the molding is carried out by thermobaric pressing at a pressure of 128 kPa and a temperature of 125 °C for 2–3 min to form cylindrical granules, the material further comprising secondary polypropylene as a binder.
EFFECT: method for creating biodegradable polymer composite materials used in the separation and purification of gas and steam mixtures of various type, to clean the surface of water from oil and petroleum products, to treat sewage from protein toxicants, as well as for the manufacture of plastic products with manageable use period.
