SUBSTANCE: invention relates to materials which improve or stabilize soil condition, in particular to mulching biodegradable polymer films used for growing different crops in open field, and can be used in agriculture. Disclosed is a mulching biodecomposed polymer film obtained by extruding a composition containing a biodegradable polymer material. Biodegradable polymer material is a composite based on a thermoplastic polymer, a natural filler and a plant growth activator, with the following ratio of components, wt. %: natural filler 10–40; plant growth activator 0.5–2; thermoplastic polymer - balance. Disclosed also is a method of producing said mulching film.

EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a mulching biodegradable polymer film which has a plant growth stimulation function and is biodegradable.
