SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a grain-oriented electrical steel sheet containing a base steel sheet containing by weight: C 0.005 or less, Si from 2.50 to 4.00, Mn from 0.010 to 0.500, N 0.010 or less, P 0,0300 or less, soluble Al 0.005 or less, S 0.010 or less, Bi 0 to 0.020, Sn 0 to 0.500, Cr 0 to 0.500, Cu 0 to 1.000, Se 0 to 0.080, Sb 0 to 0,50, and the remainder of Fe and impurities, glass coating and tensioning insulation coating. Linear heat strains having a given angle ϕ with respect to the transverse direction, which is a direction orthogonal to the rolling direction, are periodically formed on the surface of the tension-generating insulation coating at predetermined intervals along the rolling direction, the full width at half maximum F1 on the linear thermal strain and the full width on half of the maximum F2 in an intermediate position between two linear thermal strains adjacent to each other satisfy the condition 0.00 <(F1 - F2) / F2 ≤ 0.15, the width of the linear thermal strain is 10 μm or more and 300 μm or less. In the main steel sheet, the angle γ of the orientation distribution of the secondary recrystallized grains around the rolling direction axis, the angle α of the orientation distribution around the axis parallel to the normal direction, and the angle β of the orientation distribution around the axis perpendicular to each of the RD axis and the ND axis, in degrees, satisfy the conditions 1,0 ≤ γ ≤ 8,0 и 0,0 ≤ (α2 + β2)0,5 ≤ 10,0.
EFFECT: improving the magnetic performance without degrading the noise performance of the grain-oriented electrical steel sheet is achieved.
