FIELD: smoking devices.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to smoking devices, and in particular to a power supply unit for an aerosol inhaler. The power supply unit for the aerosol inhaler contains a power source configured to discharge onto a load that heats the aerosol-forming source and in which the temperature and the value of electrical resistance are in correlation. The power supply unit for the aerosol inhaler contains the first element connected in series with the load and having the first value of electrical resistance. Also, the power supply contains a second series circuit containing a second element having a second electrical resistance value, and a third element connected in series with the second element and having a third electrical resistance value, and connected in parallel with the first series circuit containing the load and the first element. The power supply contains an operational amplifier in which one of the non-inverting input and the inverting input is connected to the first series circuit, and the other of the non-inverting input and the inverting input is connected to the second series circuit. Each of the first electrical resistance value, the second electrical resistance value, and the third electrical resistance value exceeds the electrical resistance value of the load at normal temperature or temperature within a predetermined temperature range.

EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the efficiency of aerosol formation.
