FIELD: smoking devices.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to smoking devices, and in particular to a power supply unit for an aerosol inhaler. The power supply unit for the aerosol inhaler contains a power source configured to discharge onto a load that heats the aerosol-forming source and in which the temperature and the value of electrical resistance are in correlation. The power supply unit for the aerosol inhaler contains the first element having the first value of electrical resistance and connected in series with the load. The power supply unit contains a second series circuit containing a second element having a second electrical resistance value, and a third element connected in series with the second element and having a third electrical resistance value, and connected in parallel with the first series circuit containing the load and the first element. The power supply also contains an operational amplifier in which one of the non-inverting input and the inverting input is connected to the first series circuit and the other of the non-inverting input and the inverting input is connected to the second series circuit. Also, the power supply includes a heating circuit configured to supply the load with a current in excess of the current flowing through the load when the current flows through the first series circuit and the second series circuit.

EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the efficiency of aerosol formation.
