SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering. The power supply unit for the aerosol inhaler includes a power source configured to discharge electricity to a load that is configured to heat the aerosol source and has a correlation between temperature and electrical resistance values. According to the invention, the power supply includes a first element connected in series with the load and having a first electrical resistance value, a second series circuit that contains a second element having a second electrical resistance value, and a third element connected in series with the second element and having a third electrical resistance value. The second and first series circuits are connected in parallel. The operational amplifier is connected to the first series circuit and the second series circuit. The first value of electrical resistance is less than the value of electrical resistance of the load.

EFFECT: nvention increases efficiency of aerosol formation.
