FIELD: devices for separating materials.

SUBSTANCE: proposed group of inventions relates to a sieve for vibration separators. More specifically, the present invention relates to a lightweight and foldable tensioning rubber sieve with a textured pattern provided on an upwardly facing contact surface to reduce friction wear of the sieve. The proposed invention can be used for final and intermediate sorting in both wet and dry applications, including, but not limited to, the mining, mineral processing, construction, metallurgical and processing industries. The sieve for sorting the material comprises a main body having a top layer contact surface intended to face upward for contact with the material to be sorted, and a bottom surface of the second layer intended to face downward. The main body has thickness formed between the contact and bottom surfaces and contains the top layer material and the second layer material, multiple spaced sorting holes extending through the thickness of the main body between the contact and bottom surfaces. The top layer material is bonded or connected with the second layer material to form a composite structure in which the top layer material has one material characteristic and the second layer material has a different material characteristic than the top layer material. The top layer of the sieve is made of vulcanized rubber and the second layer of the sieve is made of vulcanized rubber and is reinforced with fabric. The sieve is used in the screening device for sorting bulk material. In this case, according to one of the variants, the specified sieve installed in the screening device on support beams and extending between the side walls, is stretched in the transverse direction, and in the other embodiment, in the longitudinal direction.
