FIELD: railway transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, namely to open freight flat cars of the jointed type for the transportation of large-sized and large-capacity cargo. A jointed flat car contains two adjacent frames (1), based in the area of the joint assembly on common running trolley (8). Jointed device (5) for the joint of cars includes a center and a hinged part, while the center part consists of a center block, a shank and a case. Inside the cavity of the center part case, the lower and upper inserts are installed, to the inner spherical surfaces of which the ball is tightly attached, held by a pressure flange fixed to the case, and having a shaft of cross-section variable in height, the axis of symmetry of which coincides with the axis of the hole made in the ball on the opposite side of the shaft and being the geometric center of rotation of trolley (8). The ball shaft is rigidly fixed in the leash element of the hinge part. In the embodiment of the flat car, the shaft is made of a conical shape and is attached in the hinged part by a transition sleeve having a conical mating surface.

EFFECT: invention simplifies the manufacture, increases reliability and maintainability of the structure.
