FIELD: shunting of rail vehicles.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to means of maneuvering wagons. The railway wagon shunter is comprised of a railway platform with automatic couplings mounted on a railway bogie, a machine compartment installed on the platform equipped with a control system connected to a remote control, to a power source and electrically connected with a power drive. A diesel compartment is additionally mounted on the platform therein with a diesel generator unit module installed thereon as a power source and a compressor compartment including a compressor unit. The power drive is made in form of an electric engine with a drive reducer kinematically connected by a cardan drive with axial reducers of the driving wheels. Also proposed are variants of a wagon shunter characterized by the power drive being made individual for each axle of the wheelset and by the platform with automatic couplings being mounted on two railway bogies wherein cavities with ballast are installed within the platform.

EFFECT: technical result is a possibility of an autonomous mode of the shunter.
