FIELD: underground well construction.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the construction of underground wells for retaining casing pipes in the well. The technical result is to facilitate the installation of the casing pipe in the well and prevent cementing of the pipe at the side of the well. The pipe gripping device contains: a body that restricts the internal pipe cavity, a self-locking mechanism and a holding element. The body has a first inner diameter, a second inner diameter, a first shoulder for receiving a load and a second shoulder for receiving a load, the first inner diameter being larger than the second inner diameter, the first shoulder for receiving a load narrows in the axial direction from the first inner diameter to the second inner diameter at the second shoulder for the perception of the load, and the second shoulder for the perception of the load is made in the form of a stop at the second inner diameter. The self-locking mechanism is located substantially coaxially within the tubular cavity of the body adjacent to the first inner diameter, the self-locking mechanism having an expanded spring position such that the inner diameter of the self-locking mechanism is substantially equal to or greater than the second inner diameter and has a spring released position, so that the inner diameter of the self-locking mechanism could elastically be compressed to a diameter less than the second inner diameter, if the self-locking mechanism were not secured. In this case, the self-locking mechanism additionally contains: a tapped thread, and the leg of the holding element is made with the possibility of continuation through a hole in the body for screwing into the tapped thread and radial limitation of the self-locking mechanism in the extended position of the spring. The holding element has a first position of the holding element, in which the leg of the holding element is designed to extend through an opening in the body to interact with the self-locking mechanism and radially restrict it in the expanded position of the spring, and a second position of the holding element, in which the leg of the holding element is removed and does not interact with a self-locking mechanism and does not restrict it, so that the self-locking mechanism can be compressed to the released position of the spring to grip the outer surface of the tubular element.

EFFECT: technical result is to facilitate the installation of the casing pipe in the well and prevent cementing of the pipe at the side of the well.
