FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. A gamma-spectrometric installation for breast diagnostics, including a frame on which a patient chair is located with a drive for chair movement, and a stand on which a radiation protection unit is mounted, with cavities for accommodating research objects, detectors located on a platform with control panels, a drive for the movement of the radiation protection unit and a gamma spectrometer with a control panel. In this case, the radiation protection unit contains a partition located between the detectors, and the detectors are placed in bushings with an open end part. The baffle and detector sleeves are made of material that absorbs ionizing radiation.
EFFECT: use of this invention will improve sensitivity and accuracy of measurements for breast diagnostics.
