FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to AES information systems for detecting potential threats during monitoring of radiation environment, electromagnetic transitions: space and atmospheric bursts of gamma-, optical and UV-radiation. AES are equipped with spectrometric equipment and placed on orbits crossing L-shells of Earth radiation belts. For example, two circular orbits are used: low (500–650 km) solar-synchronous and medium (1,400–1,500 km) with an inclination of ~80°, as well as elliptic orbit with apogee of 8,000 km, perigee of 600–700 km and critical inclination of ~63.4°. For orbits there is a condition that the departure of the perigee argument is less than 3–4 °/year. Information can be transmitted to the Earth with a duty cycle of not less than 0.5–4 hours depending on the orbit, wherein the spectrometric equipment is synchronized with reference to a single world time.
EFFECT: providing operational (in a mode close to "real time"), in a wide range of orbits of monitoring of the phenomena and objects which can represent various space threats.
