FIELD: vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to illumination apparatuses for head car optics and can be used to illuminate the road surface in car headlights both as the primary and additional lighting. The headlight module is comprised of a radiator with a board connected to a body wherein a secondary optical element, a screen containing a surface limiting the light flux below the optical axis, a focusing lens and at least one light source mounted on the board are located. A hole is made in said surface, and an additional optical element in form of a matte lens with a corrugated surface closing said hole is fixed on the screen surface facing the focusing lens.
EFFECT: increased light intensity and illumination efficiency in area III in accordance with the requirements of the UNECE Regulation 112.
