FIELD: substrates.

SUBSTANCE: substrates according to the invention can be used for the manufacture of heat-insulating and/or sun-protective glazing, which can be intended for equipping both buildings and vehicles. Such glazing reduces the load on the air conditioning system, and/or prevents excessive overheating (in the case of sun-protection glazing), and/or reduces the amount of energy dissipated to outside (in the case of low-emissivity glazing, "low-e" glazing), due to the ever-increasing importance of glazed surfaces in buildings and vehicle cabins. The invention relates to a transparent substrate (30) provided on the main surface with a set of thin layers containing one metallic functional layer (140) having reflection properties in the infrared region and/or in the solar radiation region, in particular based on silver or a silver-containing metal alloy, and two antireflection coatings (120, 160), each of the antireflection coatings containing at least one dielectric layer (122, 128; 162, 168), the specified functional layer (140) is located between two antireflection coatings (120, 160), characterized in that at least the antireflection coating (120) located between the substrate (30) and the functional layer (140), in fact even both antireflection coatings (120, 160), contains (contain) a layer (126, 166) containing silicon-zirconium nitride, SixZryNz, with the atomic ratio of Zr to the sum of Si+Zr, y/(x+y), which ranges from 25.0 to 40.0%, including these values, in fact, even from 27.0 to 37.0% inclusively.

EFFECT: substrates according to the invention can be used for the manufacture of heat-insulating and/or sun-protective glazing, which can be intended for equipping both buildings and vehicles.
