FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to pulmonology, allergology and physiotherapy and can be used to treat bronchial asthma. To do this, peakflowmetry is preliminarily performed to objectively detect a decrease in the peak expiratory flow rate every hour. An electroacupuncture operation on the functional reflex arc is performed if there are initial signs of a decrease in the peak expiratory flow rate by 10% of the individual norm or symptoms of the onset of a bronchial asthma attack against the background of drug therapy. The functional reflex arc is formed by biologically active points located in the projection of the thoracic sympathetic ganglia. In this case, the first multichannel electrode is simultaneously fixed on the biologically active point VC17 - Dan Zhong, VC18 - Yu Tang, VC19 - Zi Gong, VC20 - Hui Gai, VC21 - Xuan Ji, VC22 - Tian Tu if there is no thyroid pathology. The second multichannel electrode is fixed on the biologically active point V11 - da-chu; V13 - Fei Shu; V16 - doo-shu; V17 - Ge-Shu; V41 - fu-fen with a constant electric current with an individual selection of the sensory threshold current from 40-80 mcA for a duration until the peak expiratory flow is normalized under repeated control of the peak flow meter or the symptoms of the onset of an attack are eliminated.
EFFECT: method prevents the occurrence of bronchial asthma attacks due to prolongation of the state of interictal remission by a non-pharmacological method while reducing the doses of inhaled forms of glucocorticosteroids with its atraumaticity and safety.
