FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to paediatrics and pulmonology. Substance of efficiency estimate of baseline antiinflammatory inhalation glucocorticosteroid therapy of bronchial asthma in children consists in evaluation of endothelin-1 concentration in blood serum prior to treatment and three months later. If the value is decreased 1.5 and more times as compared to the reference value, extent and length of antiinflammatory therapy are considered to be sufficient. The therapeutic extent is thereafter reduced herewith passing to the previous therapeutic stage back. The absence of dynamics shows inadequate extent and length of antiinflammatory therapy requiring corrections of primarily prescribed doses or prolonged length of treatment.
EFFECT: application of the given method improves efficiency estimate reliability of baseline antiinflammatory therapy of bronchial asthma in children.
