FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of shipbuilding and concerns marine floating structures equipped with a runway for receiving medium and heavy transport and other aircraft. A sea floating base is proposed, consisting of several separate basic floating modules of a semi-submersible type, equipped with propulsion systems, connected in the sea in one line to form a complete base with a runway of at least 1500 m in length. The hulls of modules have a composite structure and consist of two longitudinal reinforced concrete pontoons, along the contour of the cross sections of which double longitudinal connections are arranged. Vertical reinforced concrete pillars with a certain interval are built along them on decks, resting on the longitudinal and transverse bulkheads of the pontoons. The pontoons are arranged in parallel at a given project distance from each other and are rigidly connected to each other by transverse steel ties of a steel upper structure mounted on pillars and rigidly connected to them. One of the basic floating modules - the super-module has a length of at least 1000 meters, the rest, at least two small basic floating modules, have a length of at least 250 m each. The propulsion systems of the super-module have a total power that ensures the movement of the super-module in the sea at a speed of up to 4÷5 knots, performing maneuvers at the point of operation and increasing the speed when towing over long distances. Vertical pillars are made of reinforced concrete to a level of at least 6 m above the operational waterline.
EFFECT: invention provides improved technical and operational characteristics of the floating base.
