FIELD: airfields.
SUBSTANCE: temporary floating runway (1) consists of structurally interconnected modules, which are able to be joined together on water surface into a single structure to form a runway for servicing aircraft. At that, reinforced concrete displacing pontoons (2) with connecting elements (9) are used. Structurally, pontoon (2) consists of an external hull, main transverse bulkheads, which form a watertight volume. Modules represent pontoons (2) made of decommissioned used railway cars—gondola car bodies, frames (7) and railway tanks.
EFFECT: simplified construction of runway.
