SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a unit (44) for a gas turbine engine (36) containing an oil circuit (24) having an air and oil heat exchanger (31), a main bypass channel (26) connecting the inlet of the specified heat exchanger (31) to the outlet of this heat exchanger (31) and surrounding the specified heat exchanger (31) to provide heat exchange with this heat exchanger (31), and an auxiliary bypass channel (28) of the main channel (26) connecting the upstream end of the main bypass channel (26) with the downstream end of the main bypass channel (26), while the circuit (24) also contains at least one valve (22) for controlling the passage of the oil flow into the main (26) and auxiliary (28) bypass channels and a means (35) for controlling the opening of the specified at least one valve (22) at a temperature below its threshold value. In accordance with the invention, the addition of an auxiliary bypass channel makes it possible to bypass part of the fluid bypassing the main bypass channel, reducing the fluid pressure in the main bypass channel under operating conditions at a reduced temperature.
EFFECT: combination of the valve for controlling the oil flow through the main and auxiliary bypass channels and the means for controlling the valve opening at a temperature above its threshold value makes it possible to use the main and auxiliary bypass channels only under operating conditions at a reduced temperature, while when the temperature is above the specified temperature threshold, the oil flow does not circulate through the specified channels.
