SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a composite panel assembly for an aircraft, intended, in particular, for use at the interface of components, where fastening requires sealing means. The composite panel assembly for an aircraft contains two panels and a front set of composite material layers attached to the top side of the first panel. The first panel has an upper and lower side, with the lower side having a recess on the front side of the panel. The second panel also has an upper and lower side, with the lower side having an outer projection at the first side of the panel, with the outer projection located in the recess of the first panel to form a lower continuous side. The front layer set has an edge that overlaps the first side of the first panel, with the number of layers of the front layer set decreasing in the direction of the side opposite the first side of the first panel.

EFFECT: operational strength of the structure is improved.
