SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of geophysics and can be used for recording seismic data with towing a bundle of seismic sources located at a large distance. A method is proposed for conducting a seismic survey to collect seismic data. The method may include towing a bundle of seismic sources connected to a vessel, towing a set of towing cables connected to the vessel, and towing a set of towed streamers attached to the towing cables on an alignment cable at the towing points. In addition, the method includes towing a set of source cables in such a way so that the seismic clusters are located at a distance of at least 125 m.
EFFECT: increasing the information content of the obtained data by distributing seismic data at small distances more evenly and creating a data array at small distances for accurate display.
