FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture. A method for activating the germination of rapeseed seeds is proposed, including the use of a silicon-containing preparation. For pre-sowing seed treatment, working aqueous sols of hydrothermal nanosilica with concentrations of 0.05 - 0.0005 wt.% are prepared based on the initial aqueous sol of nanosilica of 2.5 -% concentration with a predominance of the size of its constituent particles 10-20 nm, which is obtained from hydrothermal solutions of the Mutnovsky field of Kamchatka. The exposure time of the seeds in the sols of hydrothermal nanosilica prepared diluted with water is 120 minutes.
EFFECT: allows to increase the efficiency of rapeseed germination.
