FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a plate of flexible bitumen roof tile containing a base with a bitumen coating applied to it and a fine-grained sprinkle and having a rectangular upper part invisible after installation with a mechanical attachment area and a figured lower part visible after installation and a reinforcing element located in the mechanical attachment area. The reinforcing element consists of threads having a tensile strength of more than 0.11 GPa; it is made in the form of at least one strip located in the thickness of the bitumen coating parallel to the long side of the plate. In multilayer plates, the lower layer also contains a strip of reinforcing threads located under the reinforcing strip of the upper layer. In the case of two reinforcing strips in the upper layer, during installation, the reinforcing strips of different plates are superimposed on each other, which creates a zone of multi-layer reinforcement of the mechanical attachment area.

EFFECT: technical result is preventing the plate or part of it from breaking off from the roof base or facade in a strong wind.
