SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to oncology, surgery, hepatology. A laparotomy is performed, the inferior mesenteric vein is catheterized. A catheter is passed to the level of the lobar division of the portal vein, determined by palpation of the hepato-duodenal ligament. The catheter is fixed with a ligature in the lumen of the inferior mesenteric vein. The distal catheter is passed retroperitoneally and connected to the port-system chamber, placed subcutaneously in the left hypochondrium and fixed to the aponeurosis of the external oblique abdominal muscle through a separate skin incision. The venous port-system established in this way is used for long-term repeated injections of chemotherapy drugs.

EFFECT: allows for long-term and renewable regional chemotherapy of malignant liver tumors, ensures the prevention of arterioportal fistulas, excludes trauma to the main bile ducts and large vessels, as well as hemorrhagic complications due to reliable fixation of the catheter.
