FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a roll mill stand. The roll mill stand has two sides of the stand, in which there are at least two rolls for plastic deformation of the workpiece. These rolls pass between the sides of the stand and are supported in the sidewalls of the stand. The roll mill stand is designed to absorb the rolling force acting during plastic deformation. The sides of the roll mill stand are connected to each other by means of crossbars into one whole, made of the same material. The crossbeams together with the roll mill stand sides are made with the possibility of manufacturing by means of additive manufacturing.
EFFECT: as roll mill stand with low weight is obtained.
