SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a multi-layer sheet suitable for use as a floor or wall covering, characterized by a three-dimensional surface relief and a decorative pattern that contains: i. carrier layer containing top surface and bottom surface; ii. foam layer comprising an upper surface and a lower surface, the lower surface of the foam layer being located adjacent to and attached to the upper surface of the carrier layer, the upper surface of the foam layer contains a discontinuous chemically embossed relief pattern, while the discontinuous chemically embossed relief pattern contains depressions formed by single or superimposed dots of a digitally printed material containing a foam inhibitor; and optionally iii. decorative layer attached to the upper surface of the foam layer; and optionally iv. at least one wear-resistant layer adjacent and attached to the decorative layer; and optionally v. back layer adjacent to and attached to the underside of the base layer.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible not to limit the process of obtaining a decorative coating to large-scale production of sheet vinyl with repeated ornaments.
