SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to cardiology, and can be used in the differential diagnosis of etiological causes of chronic heart failure (CHF). In the blood plasma, the concentration of creatinine, the concentration of sgp130, IL-6, rIL-6R, NT-proBNP are determined. Additionally, blood pressure is measured. The presence of a history of ischemic heart disease, the functional class of chronic heart failure (FC CHF), the presence of venous stasis on the chest x-ray are determined and the age of the patient is taken into account. Based on the patient's predictor variables, the values of the linear discriminant functions Z1-Z6 are calculated. The obtained values of Z1 and Z2, Z3 and Z4, Z5 and Z6 are compared in pairs, and if Z1≥Z2, or if Z5≥Z6, then the patient's CHF is due to ischemic heart disease (IHD). If Z1 <Z2, or if Z3≥Z4, then the patient's CHF is caused by arterial hypertension (AH). If Z3<Z4 or Z5<Z6, then the development of CHF is associated with inflammatory cardiomyopathy (ICM).

EFFECT: method makes it possible to develop a personalized approach to the treatment strategy, to develop the necessary recommendations for rehabilitation and long-term therapy, as well as to monitor the effectiveness of treatment.
