FIELD: tyre building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a tyre building drum half. The technical result is achieved by the first half (11) of the drum, which is designed to form, together with the second half (12) of the drum, a drum (1) for building tyres, provided in the machine (7) for building tyres, while the machine (7) for building tyres consists of an axis (X) of rotation and a shaft (9) of the drum, passing along the axis (X) of rotation to provide support for the first half (11) of the drum and the second half (12) of the drum on opposite sides from the center (M) of the drum (1) for tyre building. Moreover, the machine (7) for building tyres additionally contains the first drive element (81) and the second drive element (82) made with the possibility of movement in the axial direction (A) parallel to the axis (X) of rotation relative to the first half (11) of the drum. In this case, the first half (11) of the drum contains a base (2) for mounting the first half (11) of the drum on the shaft (9) of the drum. Moreover, the base (2) has a central axis (X), which is located in such a way that it coincides with the axis (X) of rotation, and is configured to move along the shaft (9) of the drum in the axial direction (A) parallel to the central axis (X). The section (5) for transferring the crown to the upper position has a set of segments (50) of the crown distributed circumferentially around the central axis (X) and made with the possibility of moving relative to the base (2) in the direction (C) to the upper position of the crown outward in the radial direction (R) relative to the central axis (X) from the lower position of the crown to the upper position of the crown. Moreover, the first half (11) of the drum has a moving element (15) for moving the segments (50) of the crown in the direction (C) to the upper position of the crown. In this case, the first half (11) of the drum additionally has the first connecting element (13) for connecting the first drive element (81) with the base (2) to ensure the movement of the base (2) in the axial direction (A) and the second connecting element (14) for connecting the second drive element (82) with the moving element (15) to ensure the movement of the crown segments (50) in the direction (C) towards the upper position of the crown.
EFFECT: improved synchronization of the tyre building machine.
